    Setting a credit card surcharge

    Credit card payments incur a transaction fee per transaction, the rates are:

    LocationRate
    Australia1.75% + 30c
    All other locations3.5% + 30c

    You can switch on a credit card surcharge to cover this by following the steps below:

    Steps

    1. Navigate to Setup > System Settings > Business Detail image.png


    1. Click the Payments tab
    2. Enter the credit card surcharge
    3. Click Save


    Tip

    The typical surcharge rate is 2% for Australian users and 3% for other users, however, you can set it to any value.
