Staff can be created, managed, and deleted under Setup > Accounts & Security > Staff & Admins. If that staff member has a calendar and offers services, it includes allocating what services they provide and what locations/suburbs they service.
Most individual staff settings can be controlled under their individual staff profile, and staff themselves also have the ability to update their personal details under their staff login account.
Staff terminology
Depending on what industry you are in your staff may be referred to as "Trainers", "Instructors" or "Practitioners" etc.
Please refer to the Creating a staff member article for instructions on how to set up a new staff member.
Staff profile
Under the staff profile you can control staff login details, the services they perform, how their reminders and runsheets are set up, and more. These settings are accessible under the tabs across the top of the profile.
Staff role and permissions
On the staff profile you can also set their role. The staff role relates to the security permissions they are assigned, which control level of access they have to your system.
Updating staff details
You as a BookingTimes admin user will be able to click on most fields to update the staff members details. Ensure you save the page after you make changes.
Staff members will also have the ability to update their own details under their login account. The details that they have access to manage can be controlled under the security permissions for their role.
Updating staff email
You will have access to update the staff email, however, it is recommended that you get a staff member to update their own email under their login account. They will not be able to login if you update their email and do not notify them.
Staff login account
Staff will have their own profile, dashboard, sales menu and clients menu when they log into the system. Depending on the security permissions you have provided them, they may also have access to the setup menu to make changes to the business or website.
