Selling or reselling online courses

Within BookingTimes if you have created an online course using our Learning Management System you are able to sell your course to other providers by listing it in our online course Marketplace. Alternatively, if you don’t have any online courses but would like to resell someone else’s, you can browse the available courses on the Marketplace and select any courses that you’d like to resell.

Selling your Online Courses to other providers!

If you have created your own Online Course using our Learning Management System (please refer to Online courses (LMS) overview), you also have the ability to sell your online course to other providers, essentially giving you a new source of income. You can let them sell it as:

• Affiliate Sales: Allow other businesses to sell your course on your behalf and they will receive an affiliate commission. The course is still administered by you, on your website, where the client will complete it.

• Hosted Course: Allow other businesses to sell and administer this course on their website. They are not able to edit the course.

Selling as a Hosted Course

Setting up this option allows other businesses to sell and administer this course on their website. They are not able to edit the course.

Steps

1. Continuing on from the previous section on the Resell tab.

2. Select the Hosted Course option, and complete the required fields: Price / Enrolment and any Additional terms.

   1. Ensure you are familiar with the Marketplace Fees, Terms & Conditions by click the link to view them.
      
      
      
      

3. Click Save button on the top right of the screen.
   

Reselling Online Courses from other providers

If you don’t have any online courses but would like to resell someone else’s that they’ve created using our Learning Management System (please refer to Online courses (LMS) overview), you have the ability to resell those, and given a commission for the referral. Simply browse the available courses on the Marketplace and select any courses that you’d like to resell.

Steps

1. Navigate to Setup > Bookings > Online Courses

2. Click the Shop Courses button
   
   
   

3. Browse the online Marketplace, noting you can use the Search bar to help refine the course list. Each course will display whether it has Affiliate and/or Self Hosted courses available.
   
   
   

4. Select a course to view more information, including the description, purchase options, price, and any associated terms. Click the Activate button to resell the course.
