# Purchasing gift certificate designs

A gift certificate is sent when someone purchases a voucher or package for someone else. The gift certificate will be sent to the recipient via email.

You can change the design that is used for gift certificates. BookingTimes offers a range of gift certificate designs - including seasonal designs - which can be purchased on the platform.

### Steps

1. Navigate to **Setup** > **Shopping** > **Gift Certificates**

1. To add a gift certificate, click **Buy Now**
2. After purchase you can change the default gift certificate by clicking the star icon.
