# Integrating with Xero for daily cash taken

BookingTimes offers easy integration with [Xero](https://www.xero.com/) accounting software to track the daily cash taken & refunded.

When any transactions are marked as being by paid by Cash within the BookingTimes system, this process will group each of the day’s cash transactions and create a single, daily bank transaction in Xero.

Note

To integrate, you will require a Xero account.

## Connecting to Xero

### Steps

1. Navigate to the **Setup** > **Integrations** > **External Integrations**

2. Click on **Connect to Xero**. You will be asked to authorize the connection by logging into your existing Xero account.

3. Once complete - you will need to **Select** both a Bank Account and a Cash Account from the drop downs.

4. Click **Save.**

## View in Xero

The transaction will appear in Xero as follows:

Noting the follow will appear different within your Xero:

- Title will say: “**Receive Money**” or “**Send Money**” depending on if it is income or refund.
- Under “**From”**: where it says *“Website cash - .bookingtimes.com"*, It will show **"Website Cash - {YourBusinessUrl.com}"**
