Integrating with Thinkific

BookingTimes offers easy integration with Thinkific - an online learning platform which provides courses and membership sites.

A direct integration allows you to sell courses on your BookingTimes website or over the phone, and provides students with a single button that will take them over to your Thinkific Page - with their account and purchase already ready for them!

You can also generate course certificates on completion on your BookingTimes website, if you do not want to use Thinkific certificates.

Connecting to Thinkific

Steps

1. Copy your API key from the Thinkific dashboard following this guide: What is my API key?
2. Copy your Subdomain from the Thinkific dashboard following this guide: What is my Subdomain?
3. On your BookingTimes website, navigate to Setup > System Settings > Business Detail
4. Click the System tab
5. Scroll down to Thinkific API
6. Paste your API into the Thinkific API text box
7. Paste your Subdomain into the Thinkific Subdomain textbox
8. Click Save All

Creating a Thinkific Product

Steps

1. Navigate to Setup > Shopping > Products & Packages
2. Click Add Product
3. Under Category, select Think
4. Under Product Type, Select Integrated Product
5. Under Integrated System, Select Thinkific
6. Under Linked To, select the Thinkific Course the product is linked to
7. Click Save
8. Click the Publish Tab
9. If you would like your Thinkific product to be publically available for purchase, check "Create a dedicated product page on your website"
10. Enter product description
11. Click Save

Lauching the Thinkific Course

Once a client has purchased or recieved a thinkific voucher, they will be able to lauch the Thinkific course from their profile.

Steps

1. Navigate to My Profile > My Bookings
2. Under Available Vouchers, click Start Now on the relevant course
3. Copy the username and password
4. Click Start Course to open the Thinkific site
5. Enter username and password

Their Thinkific Profile will be created and course loaded.
